OGO Coco Coir Compost Material For Composting Toilets
OGO Coco Coir is an organic compost material made from the husks of coconuts. It is a natural, environmentally friendly alternative to peat moss and other materials used for composting toilets.
OGO Coco Coir is dust-free, odorless, and has a long shelf life. This natural material acts as a natural sponge, improves aeration, enhances decomposition, and helps to regulate moisture.
The OGO Coco Coir Compost Material For Composting Toilets is a perfect way to keep your solids bin stocked up. Each package contains six 24oz bags of dry coco coir - enough for around 150-180 uses.
This product is an excellent way to help you reduce your environmental footprint. By using OGO Coco Coir, you are helping to conserve water, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote sustainable agricultural practices.

- Slowly add 24 oz of water to the outer edges of the solids bin.
- The coir should feel fluffy and damp between your fingers.
COCO FIBER USED FOR GARDEN COMPOSTING
Coco fiber can also be used as a soil amendment in your garden. To begin, mix green and brown materials 1:2 ratio by volume. In situations where coco fiber will act solely as your brown portion, use a 1:1 ratio.
If you mix coco fiber with other brown materials, you will need to adjust your proportions accordingly, being careful not to add too much. If you have excess brown material, try adding water and/or more green ingredients to balance the batch.
Water the pile daily for up to two weeks until it begins to heat up before letting it rest for two weeks to settle. After it has cooled, turn the pile and water it again.
Your compost is ready to use when it is dark in color and crumbly in texture.
